Hi, I'm Marc Kreiner. Welcome to my profile!

Marc Kreiner's Bio:

Marc Kreiner is a business man and a lifelong entrepreneur. Marc was born in Brooklyn New York, raised in Southern California and currently lives in the City of Angels, Los Angeles CA.     Marc Kreiner's entrepreneurial path saw massive success at an early age as he turned a one man DJ operation called MK Dance Productions into a springboard for promoting or managing some of the most successful Disco groups of all time. This includes CHIC with their smash hit 'Le Freak' that sold over 6 million copies, Sister Sledge, Debbie Jacobs, Ann Margaret and more. Marc was able to reach the pinnacle of a successful career in music by the age of just 26 years old.  He was featured in People magazine during this era. Marc Kreiner Disco   After his long and successful stint in the music industry Marc Kreiner built and sold successful companies in numerous and varied industries like, cellular phones, telemarketing, infomercials, apparel and restaurants.   Marc Kriener is probably best known now in business as being the former President of Tapout, the Mixed Martial Arts apparel giant. He was approached to join the company by the well-known faces of Tapout, Mask, Punkass and Scrape. At the time MMA was not the global sports juggernaut it is today and it took a big leap of personal faith and confidence in the vision of the young Tapout founders for Marc to give up his other successful pursuits to focus on Tapout.    Marc saw passion in the young founders and also some of the same possibilities in the emerging world of MMA as he did many years prior with his successful career in music.    Marc Kreiner officially joined Tapout in 2006 and quickly helped grow the company’s annual revenue from $12 million that year to over $200 million by 2009. Marc did this by establishing deals to bring Tapout products to over 20,000 stores worldwide and strategic licensing agreements of the brand name.    Along with the original founders of Tapout Marc Kreiner helped grow the company to the position it still enjoys today as the number one recognized brand in the world for the incredibly popular sport of mixed martial arts. Marc eventually left Tapout partially due to the unfortunate death of his good friend and the originator of the Tapout idea Charles Lewis Jr. (Mask).  CNN had a feature story on Marc Kreiner and Tapout.  After leaving Tapout in a great position, Marc has now turned his attention to the restaurant industry. He started a restaurant investment group with plans to open establishments throughout the Los Angeles area. With his first offering he opened a very popular place in Atwater village called The Morrison. It's a laid back, modern Gastro pub with strong Scottish influence . The Morrison has received impressive reviews from the always hard to please LA fans of gastropubs. Marc will look to leverage his succes with The Morrison to open other unique bars and restaurants in the Los Angeles area in the future.   In 2014 Marc and his group will be opening a brand new restaurant in Hollywood called Ball and Chain. This very unique concept will include a strong selection of meatballs and great craft drinks. http://la.eater.com/tags/marc-kreiner   Marc Kreiner continues to look for new business opportunities and partnerships for the future.
